The Spence brand Boss Series D control valve ranges in sizes from 2" to 8" with an ANSI class of 125/250, 250/300, and 600. This control valve serves as a process control system for food, pulp and paper, chemical, petro chemical and other industries. The Boss Series D is equipped with Pneumatic and Electric Acuators for modulating control and on/off applications. The electric actuator accepts analog signals 4-20 mA, 0-10 VDC or Profibus DP. This control valve has a valve body flow area of 42% of its pipe area, reducing velocities and pressure loss. Boss's controlled seat loading maintains constant seat gasket load while a hung cage design eliminates problems associated with fixed cages.
